Increase your hook up rate on skirted trolling lures

The Pakula Lumo Keel Rig Weight is designed to add
weight on your hook rig in a skirted lure to keep the hook point to
the top in the hook-up zone. It comes with a groove so the keel
stays in place and won’t rotate around the hook. To use, place the
keel half way up the eye of the hook and wrap a thin rubber band to
secure in place. No need to weld or glue. Each weight comes painted
in lumo making it more attractive to fish even in low visibility
conditions. Using a keel will stabilise any skirted lure rig
keeping the point in the hot zone. The weight of keel is relevant
and should be checked through observation, but pretty much half a
4oz barrel sinker ie 2oz will keel most rigs from 9/0 to 11/0.
